How much does a Wyoming LLC cost?

Verified on October 22, 2026 · By LLCroad

Short answer

Wyoming charges $100 to file the articles of organization (state fee schedule), then a minimum of $60 each year for the annual report. For a non-resident, LLCroad’s all-inclusive formation costs $489, and $789 once you add the first year of the annual plan.

What the State of Wyoming charges

The state side of the budget is short and predictable. The Secretary of State charges $100 to file the articles of organization, or $102.40 when paid online by card (fee schedule). After that, the only recurring state cost is the annual report license tax.

The annual report costs a minimum of $60, or a small fraction of the assets located in Wyoming when that amount is higher. It is due on the first day of the anniversary month of the formation. Most small companies run by non-residents pay the minimum.

For comparison, here are the same state fees in the three states most often chosen by founders abroad:

What a non-resident needs on top of the state fee

The filing fee creates the company. To use it from abroad, a few more pieces are needed, and they are where prices vary from one provider to another:

Keeping the yearly cost predictable

The figures above stay stable as long as the annual report is filed on time. Once it is past due, Wyoming gives 60 days (Secretary of State) before the company is administratively dissolved, and bringing it back costs a reinstatement fee of $350 on top of the missed reports. The annual plan files the report for you each year, and our annual report guide covers the calendar in detail.
